Using this website
This website belongs to Wellington Mitigation Co., a restoration company serving Wellington, Florida and surrounding Palm Beach County communities. By using the site, you accept these terms. The site exists to describe our services and let you contact us. Information here is general educational material about water damage, mold, fire, and related restoration work. It is not a diagnosis of your property, a quote, or a promise about any specific job, and it does not replace an on-site assessment of your actual loss.
Services and scopes
Restoration work is performed under a written scope agreed with the customer before work expands beyond emergency mitigation. The scope describes what will be extracted, dried, removed, cleaned, or tested, and the basis for it, including moisture readings. Real losses sometimes contain hidden damage that only appears as materials are opened. When that happens, we document it and raise it with the customer before the scope grows, and additional work proceeds only as agreed. Verbal descriptions, whether on this site or by phone, do not override the written scope for your job.
Estimates and pricing
Any figures on this site, including published national cost ranges, are context to help you understand what drives a price, not estimates for your property. Your price comes from your scope, built from your loss, your materials, and verified readings. Emergency conditions may require immediate mitigation before a full scope is practical; in that case the mitigation performed and its basis are documented from the first visit.
Insurance
We document losses and provide scopes, readings, and records that customers and insurers use in the claims process, and we communicate with adjusters about technical scope when customers ask us to. We are not your insurer, agent, or adjuster. Whether a loss is covered, and to what extent, is decided solely by your insurer under your policy, and nothing on this site or in our communications should be read as a coverage promise or legal advice about a claim.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit through this site, and for stopping an active water source and keeping people and pets safe where you can do so without risk. If others share your property, such as tenants, co-owners, or an association, you are responsible for any access or approvals their rules require. Submitting our contact form does not create a service relationship; that begins when a scope or service visit is agreed.
Liability and content
We work to keep this site accurate, but restoration guidance is general and conditions in a specific home can differ from any description here. To the extent allowed by Florida law, we are not liable for decisions made solely on website content without an assessment. The site's text, design, and images belong to Wellington Mitigation Co. or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If we update them, the current version will be posted on this page.
